RCMP report Alberta Super Seven Contests scam

RCMP are advising the public of a scam that has been making itself known in the City of Grande Prairie.  Police advise that several citizens in Grande Prairie have reported receiving a $1,600 cheque in the mail sponsored by Alberta Super Seven Contests Scam.  The cheque is accompanied by a letter that has the letterhead of Albera Gaming and Liquor Comission.  The scam requests the recipient to contact a David LEE via telephone for further clarification on how to obtain the remainder of the winnings.

Police advise the public to check out any company or business that offer quick money and/or involve money in any aspect.  To check to see if a business or company are legitimate, contact the Better Business Burear or PhoneBusters.  Remember, "If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is."
